Octreotide Patient Care Program
Provide your patients with the support they need when starting treatment with Octreotide for Injectable Suspension.
Patients prescribed with PrOctreotide for Injectable Suspension have access to the bilingual Octreotide Patient Care ProgramSM. By helping patients enrol, you ensure they receive the support they need while taking this medication.
The program contains two key components:
- Injection administration: PrOctreotide for Injectable Suspension must be administered intragluteally at 4-week intervals by a trained healthcare professional only. Injections will be scheduled in a clinic and administered by a nurse.
- Financial support: In some cases, the Octreotide Patient Care ProgramSM can provide patients with personalized financial solutions to help them get started with their treatment. A case manager will help patients navigate insurance and provide details on the financial assistance that is available. For patients who qualify, the pharmacy will be reimbursed in the same way as any other third-party plan.
How to enrol patients:
Prescribers, pharmacists, technicians or pharmacy assistants can initiate enrolment. To enrol a patient, fax the completed enrolment form to 1-833-377-0557 or email it to OctreotidePatientCare@teva-canada.com. Bilingual case managers are available to guide you through the enrolment process and provide you with everything you need to get patients started on Octreotide for Injectable Suspension.
